This yummy Italian layered delight is sure to please any crowd. The recipe features layers of Italian meats, roasted peppers and bubbly cheese all under a golden crust. Yummmm!
Serves: 8
What you need:
- 2 (8 oz) cans of refrigerated crescent rolls
- 12 slices of fresh shaved deli turkey (little over a 1/2 pound)
- 12 slices of fresh shaved deli ham (little over a 1/2 pound)
- 12 slices of fresh shaved deli hard salami (little over a 1/2 pound)
- 10 slices of fresh shaved swiss cheese (little over a 1/2 pound)
- 1 (12 oz) jar roasted peppers (drained)
- Pre-washed spinich (small bag)
- 8 eggs (beaten)
What to do:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray an 8 x 10 baking dish with non-stick spray. Unroll one can of crescent roll dough without separating the triangles. Lay the dough in the bottom of an 8 x 10 baking dish.
- Place in oven and bake until golden brown.
- Layer with half the turkey, hame, salami, swiss cheese, roasted peppers (you will only layer the peppers this once) and a healthy layer of pre-washed spinich (I forgot to put it in the picture).
- Pour half of the beaten eggs over the top of the spinich and repeat layer with remaining meats and cheese. Place second can of crescent roll dough over the top and pour remaining beaten eggs over the top. Cover lightly with foil.
- Bake for 25 minutes, remove foil, and bake an additional 45 minutes to 1 hour, or until golden brown and heated through. Let cool 20 minutes then cut and serve! YUMMM!!
